The Arts are what make life worth living!
Without Art, there is no beauty or joy in the world.
Currently serving as Vice President of Student Affairs for Northern State University, I have worked in higher education for almost 20 years. Prior to that, I was an art teacher, and am still involved with arts co-operatives, community theatre groups, and other arts organizations. Art is also my avocation, rather than my vocation. I enjoy drawing, painting, writing, photography, and crafts such as knitting, jewelry-making and interior design. Originally from Wilmot, SD where my love of art was passed along by my mother, who taught art for almost 30 years in the Wilmot School System, I currently have a home in Aberdeen and my husband and I own his family farm in Minnesota.
